John, I just sent you the report. Sorry for inconvenience!

Great report. I have two questions regarding Market Differentiation.

    1. How are the Market Types determined? Is it self identified by the participant during the survey?

    2. Do they correspond to Steve Blank’s/Four Steps to Epiphany Market Types?

Specifically, is New = “Startups that are creating an entirely new market”?

Very interesting report. I’m from the Waterloo area and I think for the purposes of this report you should refer to Waterloo as the Waterloo Region. Waterloo is part of a tri-city area (Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge, Ontario Canada) that actually has a population of more than 500k (not 125k). The largest Google office in Canada is actually located in Kitchener as is one of the most successful accelerator center’s in the country (Communitech) as is a large percentage of startups.

Fascinating report. Did the survey end with the top 20 or is there a longer list, with the next 20 ranked ecosystems? Also, will this report be updated next year?
